Kenneth Melani

Kenneth Melani, MD

Dr. Melani has over 30 years of experience in the health-care industry first as a provider and then as a leader in the care delivery and health insurance segments. He is the founder and President of KRM Group, a health-care consulting firm that advises companies and private equity firms on strategy, financing, and operational issues. For 23 years, Dr. Melani served in key executive roles at Highmark, including CEO and CMO. He was also instrumental in founding and leading West Penn Cares, a physician hospital organization, where he was Chairman and CEO. In addition to serving as Telcare’s Chairman of the Board, Dr. Melani is a board member of EdLogics, Xodus Medical, G-Medical, Skinject and Brainstage.

Dr. Melani graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in chemistry from Washington and Jefferson College and went on to earn a doctorate of medicine from Wake Forest University. He is board certified in internal medicine (ABIM).

David Bjork

David Bjork

David is a seasoned health-care executive with a successful track record developing business strategies and operational models that are both transformative and sustainable. He currently serves as Managing Partner & CEO of Commonwealth Health Advisors. A co-founder of Telcare, David was the company’s first president. His tenure in health care has included numerous leadership roles. David was founder and principal of Assabet Ventures, served as SVP at Medco Health Solutions and EVP at ActiveHealth (acquired by Aetna) and was the co-founder and EVP of e-MEDx (acquired by ActiveHealth). He serves on the advisory boards of several health IT and services companies.

David graduated from the College of Business & Economics at the University of New Hampshire with a dual degree in Business Administration and Economics.

Stephen Candelmo

Stephen Candelmo

Stephen Candelmo currently serves as General Counsel for Telcare, where he manages all of the company’s legal affairs. He has over 20 years’ experience representing private and public companies in all stages of growth. And as both a corporate and technology attorney, Stephen has over $3 billion in transactional experience. He is named as an inventor on several patents and was a co-founder of both Fedbid and Synapsify. As a result, he is well versed in the business, financial, and legal issues facing emerging companies and their investors.

Stephen is a graduate of the University of Maryland (College Park), University of Akron School of Law and Georgetown University Law Center.

Casper de Clercq

Casper de Clercq

Casper is a 30-year veteran of the medical device and life sciences industry. He brings extensive operational knowledge to his role as General Partner at Norwest Venture Partners (NVP), where he focuses on mid-to-late-stage investments in the health-care arena and led the investment in Misfit Wearables (acquired by Fossil). Prior to NVP, Casper was a partner at U.S. Venture Partners investing in therapeutic companies from clinical development through commercialization. In addition to Telcare, he currently serves on the boards of iRhythm Technologies, Crossover Health, and Omada Health and was previously on the board of Basis (acquired by Intel) and Intersect ENT (Nasdaq: XENT).

Casper holds an M.B.A. and an M.S. in biological science from Stanford University and a B.A. in biochemistry from Dartmouth College.

Patrick Flynn

Patrick Flynn

Patrick is an entrepreneur with more than 30 years of senior executive experience. He is the COO of Good Measures and acts as an advisor to early and growth-stage health IT and medical device companies. Prior to his current role, Patrick founded and served as Executive Chairman of Predilytics. He has also held key executive positions at Health Dialog, first named COO and subsequently CEO. Earlier in his career, Patrick founded Symmetrix, a management consulting firm specializing in health-care and financial services. He holds board positions with several organizations.

Patrick earned his degree in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Paula LeClair

Paula LeClair

Paula is the President and COO of Telcare and has served in key executive roles since joining the company in 2011. With over 25 years of corporate and entrepreneurial experience in a wide range of medical device and technology enterprises, Paula brings significant operations expertise to her leadership role. She has focused much of her professional life on the diabetes management space, including her tenure at Insulet, and is a passionate advocate for the needs of people living with diabetes. Paula’s professional accomplishments also include senior management roles in engineering, finance, client services and business development at Cisco, Sun Microsystems, and General Electric.

Paula holds an M.B.A. from Bentley University, a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a B.A.in Engineering Physics, from St. Anselm College.
